EnCoate™ has successfully used its biopolymer technology to stabilize novel bacteria for insect control. This has led to the commercial bio-control product called BioShield™ which is a stabilized Serratia bacteria used to control grass grub (Costelytra zealandica). in New Zealand.

 

EnCoate™ has also stabilized a novel bio-control organism called SpK that has equivalent or better potency than incumbent bio-control agents like Bt.

 

EnCoate™ has also produced biopolymer based formulations to increase ability and utility of fungal preparations.
